Eine Wolke Nahm Ihm Weg

Description

Commissioned by the American Guild of Organists for the 2020 AGO/Marilyn Mason Award in Organ Composition, Joel Peters brings a modern-day touch to the organ repertoire. Based upon J.S. Bach’s recitative from his cantata Lobet Gott in seinen Reichen, BWV 11/249b, Peters provides a fresh approach that demands attention. Most appropriate for Ascension Sunday, it will bring new colors to any service of worship.
