Best Of Flute Solos

Description

Best of Flute Solos is a comprehensive collection of solo pieces for flute, offering advanced flutists and professionals a wide range of repertoire. This anthology is ideal for practice sessions, auditions, concerts and competitions. Alongside well-known pieces by J. S. Bach, C. P. E. Bach, Telemann, Stamitz, Debussy and Hindemith, it also features lesser-known works by composers such as Charles Keller, Eugène Walckiers, Emil Kronke, Joseph Lauber, Pierre Octave Ferroud, Harald Genzmer and Violeta Dinescu. The musical texts are based on original editions or first editions, with obvious errors tacitly corrected. The almost chronological order of the pieces illustrates the development of the instrument, playing style and composition, and provides a valuable foundationfor designing your own programme.
